Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri is an Indian actress who achieved fame for her role in Hum Aapke Hain Koun as well as Beta Saajan. Her career began in the late 1980s, and rose into prominence thanks to her character in Tezaab, a film where she starred with the veteran actor Anil Kapoor. Her next role was in Dil where she shared screen space with Aamir. She was born into an Mumbai middle-class family, and began dancing in her early years. When she was young began acting, but was not successful as a lot films she made were not successful. Her fame grew and she became one of the top film actresses. Following her wedding was over, she took a few months to rest from her acting career prior to returning. In the past, she was an important part in the movie Gulaab Gang which was about the struggle of women across India. Dixit is nominated to win the fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she took home eight. Padma Shri was awarded to Dixit. It is the fourth-highest civil honour in India. Her reputation also includes for social activism.
