Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family that included musicians. Her early years were shaped by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the traditional romantic, ranchero, and romance ballads. Ana is a lover of opera and tangos, along with the dramatic shows that she attends. She began singing and learning songs with her mother she began her more intensive vocal training when she was 16 working with the famous Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. She continued her musical studies at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward at the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. In her early career, she included performances with a variety of opera choruses, chamber groups in Guadalajara. When she moved from Mexico to America at the age of 2000, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She sings with Ensemble XXI Redlands, and sings Latin American traditional music solo for many private functions. As a musician and teacher she has volunteered for numerous community projects because of her passion and passion for music. Ana is also a past part of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana appreciates having the chance to share her passion and enthusiasm for old-fashioned Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to inspire a passion particularly among the younger generation to keep this music vibrant and alive.Viva Mexico!
